Robins, Eskew, Smith & Jordan, also known as RESJ, has served businesses and individuals throughout the metro Atlanta area since 1980. While our name and locations have changed over the years, the mission of our firm has not.

1980 November 1, 1980 Herbert E. Robins III and Clair E. Eskew form Herbert E Robins III & Associations. Office located on Old National Highway in College Park 04 19 1981 September 1981 Firm admits Harold Wayne Farmer as a partner. Name is changed to Robins, Farmer & Associates. 18 19 1983 February 1983 Clair E. Eskew is named the firm’s third partner. Firm is incorporated and name changed to Robins, Eskew & Farmer, P.C. 17 19 May 1986 1986 Due to growth, more office space is needed and the firm moves its office to Metro South Executive Center on Highway 85 in Riverdale. 16 19 1992 January 1992 Paul Smith becomes the firm’s fourth partner. 15 19 1992 October 1992 Firm expands into Henry County with a satellite office in McDonough. 14 19 1994 December 1994 McDonough office relocates to a larger facility. 13 19 1998 January 1998 Dan Clum, located in the McDonough office, becomes the firm’s fifth partner. 12 19 September 2000 2000 The Riverdale office relocates to Fayetteville. 11 19 2001 January 2001 Firm names Greg Pace as its sixth partner. 10 19 2001 December 2001 Firm merges with Jordan & Associates and Lee Jordan becomes the firm’s seventh partner. The new firm name is Robins, Eskew, Farmer & Jordan, P.C. A third office opens in the Northlake area of Atlanta. 09 19 2004 June 2004 Clair Eskew retires from the firm. 08 19 2004 September 2004 Firm merges with Williams-Keeling in Suwanee. Suwanee becomes the firm’s fourth office and Melanie Keeling becomes the eighth partner. 07 19 January 2008 2008 The firm’s name is changed to Robins, Eskew, Smith & Jordan, P.C. upon the departure of one of its founding partners. 06 19 2009 2009 Bart Robins and Kris Paker become the firm’s ninth and 10th partners. 05 19 2014 2014 Bryant Trotter becomes the firm’s 11th partner. 04 19 2018 September 2018 The Suwanee and Northlake offices merge into a new location in Duluth. The legal name of the firm is changed to RESJ, P.C. 03 19 2020 2020 Firm celebrates 40 years. Matthew Chandler becomes the firm’s 12th partner. 02 19 2022 December 2022 Paul Smith retires. 02 19 2023 December 2023 Lee Jordan retires. 02 19 January 2025 2025 Bruce Burkholder is named the firm’s 13th partner.
