Joanne Wambui
Joanne is a senior tax accountant in the Duluth office and joined Robins, Eskew, Smith & Jordan in 2023. She is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, bookkeeping, and client accounting. Previously, Joanne worked in public accounting in Oklahoma for three years and dealt closely with businesses and individuals, handling taxes, payroll, client accounting and business advising. Joanne also has three years of internal audit experience in the oil and gas industry. What she enjoys most about her work is interacting with clients and colleagues and figuring out the best way to resolve financial stress.
Joanne lives in Duluth. She has a brother who lives in Dallas, Texas, and the majority of her family lives in Africa. Her interests outside of work include cooking, hiking, walking and spending time with friends and family.
